Add Agency Broadcast Message

A broadcast message conveys information that needs shared by the state and/or your agency system administrators. Broadcast messages can be critical in nature and need immediate attention. They appear on the Ohio SACWIS Home screen. All agencies can view broadcast messages added to the system by state administrators. Agency broadcast messages added to the system can only be viewed by employees of that agency. The details of a broadcast message may be only by that agencies administrator(s).

Add an agency broadcast message as follows:

  1. Click the Home tab. The Home appears and displays any broadcast messages added to the system. .

  2. Click the Add Message button. The Add-Broadcast Message screen appears.

  3. Select or enter the Start Date of the message.

  4. Enter the Start Time and select AM or PM.

  5. Enter the End Date of the message.

  6. Enter the End Time / AM or PM.

  7. Type in the title of the broadcast message in Subject Line.

  8. Enter the broadcast message details you want to appear in the Message field and click on the ABC button to do a spell check.

  9. Click Save. You are returned to the Home screen and your message displays.
