Link an Intake to a Safety Assessment

Process: Record a safety assessment

You can link an intake report in which the related allegations are made to a safety assessment. However, you do not have link the intake to an assessment. You can complete a safety assessment at any point during the life cycle of a case.

To link a safety assessment to an intake, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Safety Assessment Filter Criteria screen, click the Link Intake button. The Available Intakes screen appears. It lists the screened-in CA/N reports, dependency reports, and FINS intakes that may be linked to a safety assessment.

  2. Select the check box next to the intake record(s) you want to link to this safety assessment.

  3. Click the Save button. You are returned to the Safety Assessment Details screen. The intake you just selected appears in the Intake Information section.

  4. Click Next Task below to continue.
