The safety reassessment re-examines any risk to a child's safety. It also includes a discussion of the impact the provision of services has on the family. The safety reassessment is completed at least every three months, depending on which of the following activities occurs first:
Original court complaint date
Date of placement
Date of court ordered protective supervision
Date of agency worker signature on case plan (when there are no court orders).
Every six months, the safety reassessment is done in conjunction with the semiannual review (SAR). See View a case review/SAR or About assessment/investigations for more information.
