Add Credit Reports

Part of a youth's independent living plan includes the recording of their credit reports. Credit reporting agencies include Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.

In order to save a credit report, you must select the name of the credit reporting agency, and record the date the credit report was requested. Once you have provided the youth with the results of their credit report, you will record that date here, (step 7 below).

Add credit reports to a youth's independent living plan as follows:

  1. From the Case Overview screen appears, select the Independent Living link in the navigation bar on the left. The Independent Living Filter Criteria screen appears.

  2. Click on the Credit Reports tab next to the Independent Living tab. The Credit Reporting Filter Criteria screen appears.

  3. From the Credit Reporting Records section, select the Youth Name from the drop down list.

  4. Click the Add Credit Report button. The Credit Reporting Details screen appears.

  5. Select the Credit Reporting Agency from the drop down. This is required to save the record.

  6. Enter the date, or click on the calendar to select the date for the Date Credit Report Requested field. This date is required to save the record.

  7. Enter the date, or click on the calendar to select the date the credit report results were provided to the youth.

  8. From the Were Inconsistencies Found drop down list, select the appropriate answer. If Yes, a date field will display to enter the date the inconsistencies were reported to the Attorney General's office.

  9. Enter comments.

  10. Click Save. You are returned to the Credit Reporting Filter Criteria screen.

The report displays Credit Reporting Records list with an Edit link in the furthest left column, and badge in the far right column.
