End-Date a Service

You end-date a service when it is no longer needed or has been provided. This action ensures that the case record accurately reflects services that have been identified and provided. You can end-date a service only when it is in "Provided" status. Once it has been end-dated, no further changes may be made to the service record. When you end-date a service, the system automatically updates the associated service authorization record.

End-date a service as follows:

  1. From the Home screen, click the Case tab.

  2. Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.

  3. Click the ID Number link of the case you want to update. The Case Overview screen appears.

  4. Click the Case Services link in the navigation bar on the left. The Case Services Filter Criteria screen appears.

  5. Click the Service End link in the Service Ending column. The Service End Details screen appears for the service record you selected.

  6. Complete the fields on this screen. You must complete at least the End Date and End Reason fields.

  7. Click Save. The system ends the service and returns you to the Case Services Filter Criteria screen.
