A case plan should be completed within 30 days of whichever occurs first:
Date of placement
Filing of the complaint
30 days from the disposition date
However, circumstances may prevent you from obtaining the information you need to complete the case plan within that time frame.
Record the reason for a delay in completing the case plan as follows:
From the Home screen, click the Case tab.
Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.
Click the ID Number of the case for which want to add a case plan. The Case Overview screen appears.
Click the Case Plan link in the navigation bar on the left. The Case Plan Filter Criteria screen appears. It displays any case plans recorded on this case.
Click the Edit link for the case plan. (It must be in "In Progress" status.) The Case Plan Topics screen appears.
Click the Identifying Information link to display the participants of the case plan and other details. The Identifying Information screen appears.
Click the check box next to Sufficient Information is not Available to Complete Case Plan within 30 Days field.
In the Justify the Reason... narrative field, enter the reason(s) for the delay in obtaining information and the steps that will be taken to obtain the information.
Click Save. You are returned to the Case Plan Filter Criteria screen.
