Process: Record a Case Review/SAR

The SAR requires you to explain the agency's recommendations regarding a child’s custody arrangement for the next six month review period. These recommendations include whether to reunify the family, to implement a supplemental plan, or to petition the court for termination of parental rights. You also describe the progress made in meeting the needs of the child who is in a planned permanent living arrangement.

Record a review of permanency information as follows:

1. From the Case Review Topics tab, click the Permanency Information link. The Permanency Information screen appears.

2. Click the Edit link next to each statement to display a new screen with a narrative field.

3. Enter a detailed response to the statement.

4. Click Save. You are returned to the main Permanency Information screen.

5. When you have entered a narrative for each statement, click Save. You are returned to the Case Review Topics screen.

6. Click Next Task below to continue.
