Remove a Justification Request

An extension request is completed with a justification when you determine that a piece of the assessment cannot be completed within the 30-day time frame. If the extension is no longer necessary or if you need to change the justification type, you may delete the request or the justification type, as long as the request has not been routed for approval. Once it has been routed, you can only view the justification request.

To delete a justification request or justification type record, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Home screen, click the Case tab.

  2. Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.

  3. Click the Case ID Number link for the case you want to update. The Case Overview screen appears.

  4. Click the Justification/Waiver link in the light-blue menu on the left. The Maintain Justification Request(s) list screen appears.

  5. To delete the entire justification request, click the Delete link (on the right) for the appropriate request.

  6. Click the OK button in the confirmation message. The Maintain Justification Request(s) screen no longer displays the request. You are still on the Maintain Justification Request(s) screen.
