A case may be linked to another case as a companion case. If this link was made in error, you can remove the link.
Unlink companion cases as follows:
From the Home screen, click the Case tab.
Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.
Click the Case ID Number link for the case you want to view. The Case Overview screen appears.
Click the Linked Cases link Case Actions field. The Associated Cases screen appears.
Click the Delete link next to the case that was associated with this case in error. The system displays a dialog box asking you to confirm the action.
Click OK. The association between the two cases is removed. (This action does not delete the case record in the system.)
