View Companion Cases

A case may be linked to other companion cases, or it may be linked to show that cases were duplicated in the system. Duplicated cases are merged in the system, leaving one case that may be updated.

View associated cases as follows:

  1. From the Home screen, click the Case tab.

  2. Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.

  3. Click the Case ID Number link for the case you want to view. The Case Overview screen appears.

  4. Click the Linked Cases link in the Case Actions field. The Associated Cases screen appears.

  5. Click the View link to view the linked case, or click the Case ID Number link to open a companion case as the active case.

    If the current case was duplicated, you can view the frozen, or "dead," case but you cannot update it or remove its association with the current case.
