Broadcast message details screen

This screen allows you to create or update a broadcast message for the agency you selected on the previous screen. A broadcast message, which is created by a State or agency system administrator, is one that requires workers' immediate attention. The message has start and end times during which it appears on the Ohio SACWIS Home screen.

A State system administrator may only create or update the messages at the State level. Likewise, an agency system administrator may only create or update only the messages at the agency level.

Fields on this screen

Start Date	Enter the date on which the message should be broadcast. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY. This field is required.
Start Time	Enter the time at which the message should be broadcast, then select AM or PM. Use the format HH:MM. This field is required.
End Date	Enter the date on which the message should no longer be broadcast. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY. This field is required.
End Time	Enter the time at which the message should no longer be broadcast, then select AM or PM. Use the format HH:MM. This field is required.
Message	Enter the text of the message. You can enter up to 100 characters. This field is required.
Broadcast Message Recipients	Select the recipients of this message. You must select an option, which depends on whether you are sending the message on behalf of the State or an agency. State messages may be broadcast throughout the state or selectively. Agency messages are sent only to recipients within the agency. If you select State Only, the message is broadcast throughout the state. If you select Public, the message is broadcast to public (county) agencies. If you select Private, the message is broadcast only to private agencies. If you select Critical, the message is displayed in red on the Ohio SACWIS Home screen.
