Attorney communication details screen

This screen allows you to record the type of communication that took place with the attorney and the date it took place. You can also enter the time.

From this screen you access the link to Associate Parties to Communication. The narrative field within this screen provides the ability to detail the communication.

The status field requires the communication to be in draft or completed status. Once a communication is completed it can not be deleted.

How do I...

Fields on this screen

Communication Type	Select the type of communication that took place from the drop down field
Communication Date	Enter the date the communication took place
Start Time	Enter the time to record what time the communication began. This is not a required field. Remember to select either am or pm
End Time	Enter the time to record what time the communication ended. This is not required field. Remember to select either am or pm
Subject	Enter the subject of the communication for the narrative table. This is not a required field.
Narrative	Enter the details of the communication that took place. This is required.
Status	Select in draft until the communication has completed, then change the status to completed.
