Policy override information (case review/SAR)

Apply Policy Override

Select Yes if you are overriding the calculated risk assessment results, then complete the rest of the screen. If you select Yes, the system indicates the final risk level is "Intensive." If you select No, the other fields are disabled and the risk level defaults to the actual risk level.

Override to Intensive

Select each check box that describes the reason why this assessment level should be "Intensive." You must select at least one check box before this case review or semiannual review (SAR) may be approved.

Describe the Reasons for Any Policy/ Discretionary Override

Enter a detailed reason for overriding the calculated risk assessment. You can enter up to 2,000 characters. You must complete this field before this case review or SAR may be approved.

Select Override/Final Risk Level

Select the risk level if you are overriding the system-calculated result. You can select a level that is only one level above or one level below the calculated score.
