This screen allows you to update the units and effective dates of payment requests, usually to adjust the request for an ancillary service, for foster care days, or when a child leaves a placement. For example, 10 counseling sessions may be approved in a service authorization but the child used only 6 sessions. You would change the units so that the provider is paid for six sessions instead of 10. (This is also done for foster care days, when a child was on leave or went home.)
