Add/update account screen

This screen allows you to view, add, or update a client's benefit accounts. The system allows you to record when a benefit application was submitted and when benefit payments are approved, rejected, or closed. On this screen you can also record the expected benefit payment amount. These benefits are used to offset the cost of the child’s care during the benefit payment date range.

Fields on this screen

Benefit Type	Select the type of account you are adding or updating.
Rejection Date	Enter the date on which this claim was rejected. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY.
Claim number	Enter the name of the benefit claim. You can enter up to 10 characters.
Effective Date	Enter the date on which this claim is effective. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY.
Application Date	Enter the date on which the client applied for benefits. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY.
Closing Date	Enter the date on which the claim was closed. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY.
Expected Amount	Enter the amount of the claim.
Description	Describe the claim. You can enter up to 600 characters.
