Record Delinquency Hearing Information

Legal actions are now child-based in SACWIS. You use Ohio SACWIS to document the date and time of a delinquency hearing for a child involved with the agency. The child may or may not be in agency custody.

Record delinquency hearing information as follows:

  1. From the Home screen, click the Case tab.

  2. Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.

  3. Click the ID Number of the case you want to update. The Case Overview screen appears.

  4. Click the Legal Action link in the menu on the left. The Case Legal Actions / Delinquency Participants Filter Criteria screen appears.

  5. Click the Maintain Delinquency link in the row of the case participant whose hearing you want to update or add. The Delinquency Information screen appears. It lists any delinquency hearing and adjudication records that have been added to this child's court history.

  6. In the Hearing History table; click the Edit link for the record you want to update, or click Add Hearing to record a new hearing record. The Hearing Details screen appears.

  7. Complete the fields on this screen. You must complete either Hearing Date, and Time field

  8. Select the Court Name. The Judge/Magistrate auto populate in the drop down.

  9. Click Save. The Delinquency Information screen appears. The hearing appears in the Hearing History table.

  10. Click Close. You are returned to the Case Legal Actions / Delinquency Participants Filter Criteria screen.
