As the State IV-E administrator, you establish ceilings on services provided by private substitute care providers or contracted service providers. This ceiling is the maximum the State will reimburse a county for a given private provider service. Each year you collect the rates of all private providers, compute ceilings based on cost information established through the provider's audited cost report.
Record provider service ceilings as follows:
Click the Financial tab at the top of the screen.
Click the Service tab.
Click the Provider Ceilings link in the navigation bar on the left. The Provider Reimbursement Ceilings Search Criteria screen appears.
Select Agency Name in the drop down.
Select Service Description.
Click Search. The ceilings that meet your criteria appear in the Provider Reimbursement Ceilings Search Results table.
Click Edit by the ceiling you want to update, or click Add Ceiling Set for a new ceiling record. The Reimbursement Ceiling Set Details screen appears. If the provider offers multiple services, the system may display multiple ceilings for the same time period.
Complete the fields on this screen.
Once all ceiling and cost information have been entered, click Calculate.
Click Save. You are returned to the Provider Reimbursement Ceilings Search Criteria screen.
