Find the New Case Record

You can open a case record from your case workload screen if you are assigned to a case. Or you can use the universal search tool, which is available from anywhere in the application. Select one of these two methods.

From the Home screen, click the Case tab.
Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.
Open the list under your name or that of another worker.
Click the case ID Number link. The Case Overview screen appears.
Click the View Case Information link in the Case Actions group box. The case details appear.

Click the Search link at the top of the SACWIS screen. The universal search screen appears.
Click the Case Search tab. The Case Search Criteria screen appears.
Enter your search criteria.

The quickest way to display the case record is to enter its case or other reference ID number. If you don't have this number, you can enter any combination of criteria, including the case name, case address, or case status.
In the Select Results By drop-down, select the method by which you want to view the search results.
Click Search to conduct the search using the criteria you entered. Or click Clear Form to re-enter your search criteria, then enter Search. The list of case records that meet your search criteria appear.
Locate the case record of interest, then click one these links to view more details:

Edit to view the case record
View Case Information to view a list of workers on the case
Members to view a list of case participants
