The Knowledge Base (KB) web site is where you can get information on current SACWIS issues; refer to articles with step by step instructions; find answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) from Ohio SACWIS users; and watch instructional videos and webinars. These knowledge base resources are supplements to Online Help. You do not need to register, or login to Ohio SACWIS Knowledge Base to access these resources.
From the Ohio SACWIS knowledge base Home screen, you will find:
Tabs across the top of the home screen allows you to go directly to the knowledge base articles, (KBAs), webinars, and training videos for the module selected such as Intake, Case, Provider, Financial, and Administration.
SACWIS News displays five headlines where. Click on the Full Story >> link to read about current news on functionality changes, or for updates on issues that change more frequently. You will find build release notes, links to new KBAs that support changes in these system; quick access to the current agency Facility and Provider IDs; and the status on active/resolved help tickets.
Main Menu section displays a variety of links. The information provided in these links include information and assistance to private agencies, and IV-E courts. Other examples of links in this section are to training videos; ROM, and BIC reporting; AFCARS webinars and AFC/AFCARS website; OFC policy guidance, practice application, and administrative rules.
Most Read Articles headline displays KBAs that have been accessed most frequently.
Latest Articles list articles, webinars, and training videos most recently added to the Ohio SACWIS knowledge base.
If you open a knowledge base article, be sure to tell the SACWIS Help Desk whether the article sufficiently answered your question and provide any additional comments. The Help Desk encourages you to share the availability and use of the KB with your coworkers.
