Tickler template details screen

This screen allows you view, add, update, or copy the details of a tickler template. The template defines the behavior of the tickler sent to workers concerning a work item. A State system administrator adds, updates, or deactivates a State-defined tickler template. A county system administrator can copy an existing State-defined tickler template to create a county-specific template.

When you update an existing tickler template, the changes do not affect any ticklers generated previously with that template. If you update the message text or mandatory indicator of a State-defined template, the update is applied to the corresponding county-specific tickler template.

Fields on this window

Work Item Type	Select the work item type to which this tickler template applies. This field is required.
Task Type	Select the task type to which this tickler template applies. This field is required.
Code	Enter the code or name of this tickler template. You can enter up to 30 characters.
Mandatory	Select this check box if a case cannot be closed until this tickler has been disposed. This field is optional.
Role	Select the work role to which this tickler applies. This field is required
Display Days	Enter the number of days before the due date the worker receives the tickler. (Enter 0 if the display date is the same as the due date.) This field is required.
Business Days	Select this check box if the system counts business days when determining the due date and escalation dates. If not selected, the system counts calendar days.
First Escalation Days	Enter the number of days after the due date an escalated tickler is sent to the worker's supervisor. Enter 0 if the first escalation date is the same as the due date. Enter a negative number if this tickler is escalated before the due date. This field is required
Second Escalation Days	Enter the number of days before or after the due date the supervisor's supervisor receives the tickler. This field is required. (If this tickler is sent before the due date, select the following check box.)
Second Escalation Days Before	Select this check box if the second escalation notice is sent before the due date. This field is optional.
Due Days	Enter the number of days after the work item date to use as the due date for the tickler. The due date cannot exceed State-defined time frames, but can be less than the State-defined time frame. This field is required.
Message	Enter the text of the tickler message. You can enter up to 100 characters. This field is required.
Inactive	Select this check box to deactivate the tickler template. This field is optional. If you are a county system administrator, you can deactivate only the tickler templates specific to your county. When you deactivate a county-specific template, the State-defined template applies. If you are deactivating a State-defined template, any county-specific templates based on it remain active.
Reason for Change	Enter a reason for deactivating this tickler template. You can enter up to 200 characters. This field is optional.
