Case closure details screen

This screen allows you to view, add, or update case closure details and link the closure to an activity record with category "Case Closure." The Link Activity allows you to locate and select the case activity record. Only one case closure activity record may be linked to a closed case.

The Validate for Approval button allows you to ensure that you've entered all information that's required to close the case. It opens the Validation Messages screen, which lists the information, if any, that needs to be completed before you can submit the closure request for approval.

The Process for Approval button allows you to submit the closure request to your supervisor for approval.

Fields on this screen

Case Closure Reason	Select the reason for closing this case. This field is required.
If Other Reason, Explain	If you selected Other in the Case Closure Reason field, enter a brief description of the reason for closing the case. You can enter up to 100 characters.
A/I Checklist Completed?	Select Yes or No to indicate whether you have completed the assessment/ investigation checklist. This field is required. The checklist is generated from the report printing function. It reflects the items that are required to complete the assessment/investigation and identify the ones that have been completed.
Ongoing Closure Checklist Completed?	Select Yes or No to indicate whether you completed the ongoing closure checklist. This field is required. The checklist is generated from the reporting printing function. It reflects the items that are required to close an ongoing case and identify the ones that have been completed.
Additional Comments	Enter any additional information about the closure of this case. You can enter up to 2,000 characters.
