Legal actions are now child-based in SACWIS. The system maintains a history of all legal actions, legal status changes, and delinquency court details for each participant in the case. These histories are included in the participant's person profile (see View a Person Profile), but may also be viewed from the Legal Actions link on the Case Overview screen. To view legal histories by case participant from the case, complete the following steps:
From the Home screen, click the Case tab.
Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.
Click the Case ID number link of the case you want to view. The Case Overview screen appears.
Click the Legal Action link in the navigation bar on the left. The Case Legal Actions / Delinquency Participants Filter Criteria screen appears. From this location, you can access and maintain all legal actions associated with this case.
In the Case Legal Actions / Delinquency Participants table; select the Maintain Legal Action link for the individual whose history you want to view. The Participant Legal Action Filter Criteria screen appears.
Click View Historical radio button. The search results appear in the Participant Legal Action Information table.
Click + next to the Legal Actions Group Beginning with a Ruling and Effective Date to view the history for the legal action grouped.
Click Close. You are returned to the Case Legal Actions / Delinquency Participants Filter Criteria screen.
Click Maintain Delinquency link. The Delinquency Information screen appears.
The history for delinquency type rulings appear in the Hearing History table. The Adjudication/Disposition History table is below.
Click Close. You are returned to the Case Legal Actions / Delinquency Participants screen.
