View a Child's Eligibility and Reimbursability History

As an eligibility specialist, you use Ohio SACWIS to determine a client’s eligibility for federally funded programs under Title IV-E.  Information pertaining to a child's eligibility for Title IV-E funds may include foster care maintenance (FCM) and adoption assistance (AA) payments for eligible children in temporary or permanent custody of your agency. The agency is generally reimbursed for payments made during a placement episode for a child who is deemed eligible for IV-E FCM.

View a child's eligibility and reimbursability history for Title IV-E for foster care maintenance as follows:

  1. Click the Financial tab at the top of the screen.

  2. Click the Eligibility tab.

  3. Click the Eligibility/Reimbursability link in the left navigation bar. The Child Selection search screen appears.

  4. If you have the child's ID; enter it in the Person's ID field. Click Go.

OR

  1. To search the child's ID; click Person Search, then locate and select the child whose eligibility you want to view. Click Select to select the child. You are returned to the Child Search screen.

  2. Displayed are Program Eligibility and Program Reimbursability tables to include history.

  3. Click the View link for a record to view the details.

  4. Click Cancel. You are returned to the Child Selection screen displaying Program Eligibility and Program Reimbursability tables.
