View or Print a Standard Report

Standard reports are on-demand reports that have a pre-defined format. These on-demand reports are generated only when requested by a worker.

Each standard report has one or more worker roles associated with it, and only workers with those roles can generate or retrieve that report. After generating the report, the worker has the option of saving the report to the history in the Ohio SACWIS database for others to view and print.

For more information, see View or print a work item document or View or print a form, notice, or letter.

To view or print a standard report, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Home screen, click the Administration tab.

  2. Click the Reports tab. The Reports Search Criteria screen appears.

  3. Enter your search criteria in the Report Category and Report Type fields.

  4. Click the Search button. The Report Search Results table displays the standard reports that are available for the category and type you selected.

  5. Click the Reports link. The Report Details screen appears.

  6. To print an existing report, click the ID link for the report.

  7. To print a new report, click the Generate Report button. For some reports, the system displays a parameter screen. If the report appears in a PDF, skip to the review parameters or save report steps below.

  8. Complete the fields on the parameter screen.

  9. Click the Generate Report button again. The report appears in a PDF or Excel format.

  10. To change the parameters, click the Review Parameters button.

  11. Re-enter the parameters, as needed.

  12. Click the Generate Report button. The report appears in a PDF or Excel with the new parameters.

  13. To save the report to the report history in the Ohio SACWIS database, click the Save button in the lower-left section of the screen. A message appears at the top of the screen saying the report has been saved.

  14. To print the report, click the Print icon in the PDF or Excel tool bar. Do not use the printing function on your browser tool bar or menu.

  15. Click the Save icon on the PDF or Excel tool bar if you want to save the report for your own use and not to the history in Ohio SACWIS.

The system does not save a report or document to the history in the Ohio SACWIS database until you instruct it to. This way, you can review the document for correctness and re-generate it if necessary before it is permanently saved.
