A recommendation record is created when a supervisor approves a home study completed by the agency's home study assessor. (See About home studies.)
The home study assessor:
Completes the recommendation record.
Submits the recommendation for approval by the agency or ODJFS reviewer.
The reviewer:
Responds to the recommendation.
Indicates whether the provider will be certified.
Confirms the services for which the provider will be certified.
View a recommendation as follows:
From the Home screen, click the Provider tab.
Click the Workload tab. The Workload screen appears.
Click the Select link for the certification record you want to view. The Provider Overview screen appears.
Click the Approval/Certification link in the menu on the left. The Maintain Approval/Certification Recommendations screen appears.
Click the View link. The system defaults to the Transactions tab; the Maintain Transactions screen appears. This screen displays the details of the transaction (for example, an initial approval, recertification, closure, and so on).
Click the Administrative Rules tab The Maintain Administrative Rules screen appears to view any waivers or variance requests, as well as any rule violations linked to this approval or certification record.
Click the Decision tab. The Maintain Decision screen appears to view any final decision or comments.
Click Close. You are returned to the Maintain Approval/Certification Recommendations screen.
