View Provider Training Sessions

Before a provider can be certified for a particular level of care, the provider members must complete the training for the competency areas identified in the training needs assessment and training plan. (See Record a training needs assessment.) The agency then sponsors the training sessions to help the provider members meet these requirements. These training sessions are maintained in Ohio SACWIS. As the sessions are completed, the system updates the provider member's training record.

View provider training sessions as follows:

  1. From the Home screen, click the Provider tab.

  2. Click the Training tab. The Training Session Search Criteria screen appears.

  3. Complete the From Session Date field and any other search criteria for the training session(s) you want to view.

    The quickest way to locate a single training session is to enter its ID number in the Session ID field. Otherwise, you can display training sessions held within a certain date range, within a certain status, with a certain name, or sponsored by a certain agency.

  4. Click Search. The training sessions that meet your criteria appear in the Training Session Results table.

  5. Click the Add Session button or select Edit or View link for the session you want to view. The system defaults to the Session Information tab; the Training Session Information screen appears. It displays the details of the training session record.

  6. Click the Additional Information tab. The Additional Training Information screen appears. It displays statements that further describe the training session.

  7. Click the Participants tab. The Training Participants List screen appears. It displays the provider members who were enrolled in this training session and whether they attended.

  8. Click Cancel. You are returned to the Training Session Search Criteria search screen.
