Record Adoptive Parent Descriptions

Process: Record a pre-finalization assessment

The pre-finalization assessment allows you to describe each parent's appearance, health, occupation, and financial status.

Record adoptive parent descriptions as follows:

1. From the Pre-Finalization Report Details screen, click the Maintain Adoptive Parent Descriptions link. The Adoptive Parent Descriptions screen appears. It lists a number of discussion topics, completed separately for each parent, and indicates whether the description is completed.

2. Click the Edit link for a parent discussion topic. The Adoptive Parent Description Details screen appears. The parent name and the discussion topic appear above the narrative field.

3. Enter a detailed description in answer to the discussion topic.

4. If your description is complete, select the Comments Completed check box. (Otherwise, leave this box unchecked.)

5. Click Save. You are returned to the Adoptive Parent Description Details screen. An excerpt of your description appears for the discussion topic.

6. Repeat steps 2-5 for each discussion topic.

7. Click Close. You are returned to the Pre-Finalization Report Details screen.

8. Click Next Task below to continue.
