Validate a Safety Assessment

Process: Record a safety assessment

The safety assessment record must contain certain information before it can be approved. If you validate the assessment, it will verify that all required fields are completed before you submit the assessment for supervisor approval. You can validate the assessment at any time during its completion.

To validate a safety assessment, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Safety Response tab on the Safety Assessment record. The Section 6: Safety Response screen appears.

  2. Click the Validate for Approval button. The system verifies that all information required for approval has been entered. It displays a dialog box listing any missing information.

  3. Click the OK button to close the dialog box.

  4. Update any necessary records.

  5. Click Next Task below to continue.
