Process: Record a Case Plan

You record independent living information in the case plan for a child who is age sixteen or older and in the custody of the agency. This information describes the independent living program and life skill services the youth will receive in preparation for the transition to independent living.

Record independent living information as follows:

1. From the Case Plan Topics screen, click the Independent Living Information link. The Independent Living Details screen appears.

2. In the narrative field, Identify programs and life skill services which will assist the child for independent living, enter a detailed description of the services the agency is providing to help the child.

3. Click Save. You are returned to the Case Plan Topics screen.

4. Click Next Task below to continue.
