Part of the independent living plan includes the youth's goals for achieving self sufficiency. A number of requirements are added to the plan, then you track the youth's progress toward meeting the requirements.
Record progress toward independent living goals as follows:
From the Home screen, click the Case tab.
Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.
Click the case ID Number link of the case you want to update. The Case Overview screen appears.
Click the Independent Living link in the navigation bar on the left. The Independent Living Records screen appears. The screen lists any independent living plans that have been recorded for the youth on this case.
Click the Edit link next to the name of the youth whose plan you want to update. The system defaults to the Independent Living tab.
Click the Goals tab. The Independent Living Goals screen appears.
Click the Edit link to update the status of an existing requirement.
Complete the fields in the Progress Details area. If you indicate that the goals have been met and enter a completion date, no further updates may be made to this goal record.
Click OK. You are returned to the Independent Living Goals screen.
Click Save. You are returned to the Independent Living Records screen.
