This screen enables you to gather basic participant information and serves as your person search criteria. The screen will also allow you to hold onto the information you have gathered and reconcile it with any existing person information already in SACWIS.
A current narrative link displays on this screen. Editing the information in this area of the screen is optional. You would click on the Edit link to add, or edit the narrative. You can click on the link to close the current narrative view.
In the Search & Add Participant section you will enter as much information as possible in order to conduct the person search. When entering the address, the system uses Google search functionality to locate the participant's valid address. At the bottom of the search criteria options is a Search Using bar. This provides you the option to deselect entered criteria to broaden your search results. You can also select the desired sort order. The system default is last name, (A-Z).
The search results display at the bottom of the screen. You will click on the box next to the participant's name to add as a participant. You can click to expand the related persons link to view any related persons in the search results.
