Add an Intake

When you receive an intake, you (as the screener) will collect as much information as possible so the safety of the child(ren) can be determined. You must also record enough information for a screening decision maker to determine whether the agency should become involved. The information you collect may also be used for management reporting purposes.

To Add an Intake record, click either the Apply or Save button. The intake will then display on the Intake Workload with the status of Pending.

As the screening decision maker, you review the intake and record a screening decision, sending the intake back to the screener for additional work if necessary. Once a decision is made, you link the intake record to an existing case, or link the intake to create a new case.
