This screen allows you to remove a link that was created in error between the active intake record and the case identified here. After you unlink the intake and case, the system changes the case status, case category, and agency ownership to what they were before the intake was linked.
You cannot unlink an intake and a case when:
The intake is the only intake linked to this case.
There were changes in the case status, case category, or agency ownership after the intake was linked to the case.
The intake was attached to a Safety Assessment, Family Assessment, Safety Plan, Disposition, or Ongoing Specialized A/I tool (regardless of the status).
The intake was only attached to case activity notes.
When an Intake is unlinked from a case, the system does not modify any assignments that may have occurred after linking the intake to a case. See Assign a work item or workload if you need to change assignments as a result of the unlinking.
