Record the Intake Decision and Assignment

 

When the screener completes an intake, it is viewed by a screening decision maker. As the screening decision maker, you review the intake record, then record a screening decision. A screened-in intake must be linked to a new or existing case. Once the intake has been screened out or linked to a case, it no longer appears on the Intake Workload screen.

Process

Finish the intake process as follows:

  1. From the Home screen, click the Intake tab. The Intake Workload screen appears.

  2. The Status column will display Complete for intakes that are ready for a screening decision. A Decision link displays under the View link in the furthest right column.

  3. To view only completed intakes, from the Intake Workload header, click in View By drop down list.

  4. Select Completed.

  5. Click the Filter button.

  6. Record the screening decision.

  7. Link the intake to a new or existing case if necessary.

  8. Assign a work item or workload.
