Record Provider Status

Process: Record basic provider information

The provider status of an ODJFS provider is controlled through the licensing process.

This process does not apply to a non-ODJFS provider. When you first create the record of a non-ODJFS provider, the system automatically applies "Pending" status. When you save the provider record, the provider status changes to "Approved." (You control the status of the provider type records. See Record provider type.)

You can add a new provider status record as follows, for example, to change the provider status to "On Hold."

Record the provider's status as follows:

  1. From the Basic tab on the provider information screen, click Add Status in the Provider Status Information table.. The Provider Status Information screen appears.

  2. Complete the fields on this screen. You must complete at least these fields:

    Provider Status
    Reason
    Effective Date
    Review Date

  3. Click OK. You are returned to the Basic tab.

  4. Click Next Task below to continue.
