Manually Dispose a Tickler

When actions need to be taken on a record, the system generates a tickler to remind the worker to take the action described in the tickler. The system closes most ticklers automatically when the work is completed. However, the system-generated tickler must be disposed manually if the work item cannot be completed.

As a system administrator or QA worker, you can manually dispose a system-generated, as well as ad-hoc ticklers, as follows:

  1. From the Home screen, click the Administration tab.

  2. Click the Maintenance tab.

  3. Click the Ticklers Disposal link in the navigation bar on the left. The Tickler Disposal Search Criteria screen appears.

  4. Complete all the search criteria fields to identify the worker whose tickler you want to dispose.

  5. Click the Search button. The worker's ticklers appear in the Tickler Disposal Search Results  table.

  6. Select the Box next to each tickler you want to dispose.

  7. Click the Dispose button. The system closes the worker's tickler.

  8. If the tickler was sent to more than one worker, repeat these steps for each worker who received the tickler.
