Record the Outcome of a PSA

Process: Record a protective service alert

When the situation prompting a protective service alert (PSA) is resolved, you enter the outcome on the PSA record.

To record the outcome of a PSA, complete the following steps:

1. On the PSA record, click the Outcome tab. The Outcomes screen appears. It lists the caretaker(s) and child(ren) who were identified as participants in this PSA record. The person's name link opens the person profile.

2. Enter a detailed description of the outcome in the Outcome Comments field.

3. Click the Save button. The PSA Filter Criteria screen appears.
