Record a Safety Review (Family Assessment)

Process: Record a family assessment

Included in the family assessment is a review of safety, which allows you to assess the level of threat.

To record an ongoing safety review, complete the following steps:

1. From the Participant Information screen, click the Safety Review tab.

2. Select a description of the level of safety threat in the Select and Complete the Appropriate Case Circumstance field. The rest of the fields on this screen are displayed according to your selection here.

3. Complete the fields on this screen, including any detailed narratives that answer the instruction presented.

4. In the Safety Response Review section, select the action that is being taken on this review. The options that are available depend on your selection in the drop-down menu above.

5. Click the Child Harm link near the top of the screen. This screen displays two links.

6. Click the Current Harm link.

7. Enter a detailed description of current or threatened harm to each child listed in the intakes associated with this family assessment.

8. Click the Historical Harm link.

9. Enter a detailed description of any threats of harm that have been reported in the past for each of the children listed.

10. Click the Apply button to save the information.

11. Click Next Task below to continue.
