Process: Record a family assessment
The family assessment includes descriptions of child functioning, adult functioning, family functioning, and historical functioning. These descriptions identify family attributes so that the agency can effectively provide services to the family.
The system automatically applies the risk contributors (concerns) and non-risk contributors (strengths) you identify on the family assessment to the case plan.
To record strengths and needs, complete the following steps:
Click the Strengths & Needs tab. The Child Functioning screen appears. It lists the children who have been selected as participants in this family assessment.
Describe the level of functioning of each child in the assessment.
Describe the level of functioning of each adult in the assessment.
Click the Apply button.
