Record a Safety Review (Ongoing)

Process: Record an ongoing case assessment/investigation

The ongoing assessment includes a safety review, which allows you to identify the level of safety threat.

To record an ongoing safety review, complete the following steps:

1. From the Participant Information screen, click the Safety Review tab. The Safety Review Details screen appears.

2. Select a description of the level of safety threat in the Select and Complete the Appropriate Case Circumstance field. The rest of the fields on this screen are displayed according to your selection here.

3. Complete the fields on this screen, including any detailed narratives that answer the questions presented.

4. In the Safety Response Review section, select the action that is being taken on this review. The options that are available depend on your selection in the drop-down menu above.

5. Click the Child Harm link at the top of the screen. This screen lists the children who are participants in this ongoing A/I.

6. In the narrative field, enter a detailed description of the level of harm each child is exposed to.

7. Click the Apply button to save the information.

8. Click Next Task below to continue.
