View Medicaid, HMO, and MITS Histories

When the child has been determined eligible for FCM or AA reimbursements under Title IV-E, he or she is also eligible for Medicaid. (See View a child's eligibility and reimbursability history or View a chid's adoption subsidy history.)

Ohio SACWIS automatically creates a Medicaid record and transmits the information by way of an interface to the Medicaid Information Tracking System (MITS) and to the Client Registry System (CRIS).  The system displays the child's MITS record for comparison. Users must record HMO information outside SACWIS.

Users can pull Medicaid eligibility information into SACWIS from MITS using the MEBI Medicaid Eligibility Batch Interface. There's a KB Article on this entitled Verifying Medicaid Spans in MITS through SACWIS The SACWIS - MITS MEBI (Medicaid Eligibility Batch Interface)
