If a provider going through the home study process violates an ODJFS rule, this violation must be recorded and linked to the home study. When they are linked, the rule violation records become part of the home study record. (See About home studies or Record a home study.)
Link a rule violation to a home study in "Pending" status as follows.
If the rule violation is not already in the system, record the rule violation.
From the Home screen, click the Provider tab.
Click the Workload tab. The Workload screen.
Click the Select link for the provider whose home study you want to update. The Provider Overview screen appears.
Click the Home Study link in the menu on the left. The Maintain Home Study History screen appears. At least one home study record is listed for each provider type.
Click the Edit link for the home study record you want to amend. The Home Study Details screen appears. (It allows to select a different assessor if this is not the person logged on.)
Click Save. The Maintain Home Study Information screen appears.
Click the Disposition link. The Disposition Details screen appears.
Click the Link Rule Violations link. The Rule Violation(s) screen appears.
Click Link Rule Violations. The Maintain Rule Violation Incidents screen appears.
Select the check box next to the rule violation record(s) you want to associate with the home study.
Click Link Rule Violations. The Disposition Details screen appears.
Click Save. The Maintain Home Study History screen appears.
