Record a Safety Audit

Process: Record a home study

The home study safety audit includes a lengthy series of statements relating to the safety of the provider's home. For each statement, you must indicate whether the statement is true for this provider, then complete the disposition.

Record the safety audit as follows:

  1. From the Home Study Information screen, click the Safety Audit link. The first tab of the Maintain Safety Audit I Details screen appears.

  2. Under the Status column, indicate whether the statement is true for this home. You must select an answer for all statements before submitting the home study for approval.

  3. Click the Safety Audit II tab. The list of statements continues.

  4. Under the Status column, indicate whether the statement is true for this home. You must select an answer for all statements before submitting the home study for approval.

  5. Click the Safety Audit III tab. This is the list of statements is completed on this screen.

  6. Under the Status column, indicate whether the statement is true for this home. You must select an answer for all statements before submitting the home study for approval.

  7. Click the Disposition tab. Complete the fields in the Safety Audit and Fire Inspection Approval Status table.

  8. Click Save. You are returned to the Maintain Home Study Information screen.

  9. Click Next Task below to continue with the home study.
